serve to protect the freedoms that are a part
of the American way of life. Educate the public, especially young Americans about the sacrifices made by the members of the military in defense of freedom and democracy. Inspire the American public to support their military by educating the public about military life, duty, honor and devotion. Instill lasting patriotism in all Americans. Inspire patriotism and motivate the American public towards service to their community, state, and nation by involving the public in the military legacy of the United States. Preserve the symbols of the American military legacy. Maintain and operate authentic examples of military aircraft and ground equipment in educational living history demonstrations and presentations so that the symbols of the American military legacy will remain in the skies and on the ground for future generations. |
