Warning Order #1 July 2009 (more to come)

The Celebrate Freedom Foundation (CFF) has been requested by the South Carolina Army and Air National Guard to support their Friday, 9 Oct through Sunday 11 Oct Air Show at the McEntire Army and Air National Guard Base. The National Guard has reserved a large amount of space on the Army Aviation Ramp and in the grass adjoining the ramp for our exhibits. They have specifically requested our entire SOaR Education Program including School Education Day, which they propose we conduct on Friday 9 Oct., our Cobra helicopters, Foundation Pavilion for VIP's/sponsors/members to observe the Air Show, the historic military vehicles, Military Scout Dogs, CFF PX, military living history and museum exhibits.

The National Guard request reflects great credit on CFF and is a result of the professionalism of our members and volunteers. We plan to provide them with maximum support. The timing could not be better as earlier in that week we will be conducting our annual CFF Education Golf Classic and the sponsors and participants can be invited to join us in the CFF Pavilion to watch the Air Show.

It will also provide us with a great showcase to announce the annual CFF National Homecoming for the Vietnam Veterans before the major press which will be on the field and of course to showcase our SOaR Education & Recruiting Program. For all of our Cavalry Troopers, let's saddle up and Scouts out!

UNIFORMS:  AT&T Pioneers should wear their AT&T Pioneer shirts with khaki pants.  CFF members should wear CFF logo'd shirts (or Viper shirts) with Khaki pants.  Members participating at a military display will wear sage green flight suits or two piece nomex or appropriate uniform for the period you are representing.  Uniforms need to have the appropriate CFF/1st Cavalry patches.  If you are lacking patches email me and I'll get them to you. Boots shined, Stetsons and Spurs are authorized.  Be aware of your appearance - if you are in uniform, make sure you look Army Proud and Army Strong,   Our Regimental CSM will tell you if you're not - I know, been there done that!!  HOOAH!
