WARNING
ORDER
There will be no drill this weekend!
Another tactical decision based on the well being of those that still have
mothers and/or children still at home. Being Mother's Day weekend, we'll
postpone the drill until the following Saturday which just happens to be
"Thunder" at Ft. Jackson.
1. First I want to thank the volunteers
that helped out at the Doolittle Raiders Stores. The stores were very
successful and hopefully added a little to the ledger of the CFF.
Unfortunately, I didn't get the numbers of volunteers I expected and we had to
be bailed out by the AT&T Telecom Pioneers. Some of "our" vipers
checked in and then checked out - let's try and do a better job guys.
Thunder is less than 2 weeks away - please let me know if you'd like to help out
at the store.
2. Chris Anderson, our senior Cobra
crewchief, needs convoy drivers to move aircraft 352 over to Ft Jackson for
Thunder. Chris needs at least two drivers to meet him at the Camden
hanger on Thursday 14 May at 0800. He will have the Blazer and a tow
vehicle, so he will need one other vehicle as the chase. He also will
need at least two drivers on Saturday 16 May to bring 352 back to Camden
after the show ends. As the third vehicle it would be ideal to have a pickup
truck to carry missle racks, signs, etc. Have anyone interested contact me
directly via my cell phone 803 243 1905 or my email william.christopher.anderson@us.army.mil. I will handle the loading and unloading, I just need the
drivers for safety.
3. More info about "Thunder" will follow
- please add it to your schedule!
Thank you for your service! God
bless America!
